Do you need a refresher on GHRIF?

If you find yourself stumbling over the abbreviation “GHRIF” like I did, then you may want to read through the article linked below posted by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

GHRIF, of course, stands for the Global Human Rights Indicator Framework, a system that turns human rights into measurable data, using indicators to track laws, actions, and real-world outcomes.

You may also want to download the available document, as it is a useful tool for understanding how human rights obligations are applied in practice. While many of the principles may seem like common sense, it is always valuable to revisit and reinforce them from time to time.

Let us know if you need support implementing or further developing your internal and external processes to help advance your human rights goals.

The GHRIF includes indicators across a wide spectrum of methodological maturity and data availability, ranging from those with a clearly established definition and method and widespread data collection, to those for which none of these criteria is yet met.
