I read this article today and spent a few minutes wondering what life would be like if I could not truly believe anything I heard, read or saw. It would be frightening having to second guess my every decision that may or may not have been based on real or fake information. Everything from the ingredients in my food, to emissions from my car, political view points to "is this doctor the best one to operate on my family". Even more reason why society needs independent assurance on information data systems, including AI and the security of them.
