What has to change in agriculture to enable sustainable nutrition?

Following my recent post on cooperation between farmers and climate activists. I stumbled over another article how agriculture has to change to at least give us a chance of developing sustainable nutrition.

Good to read, but most important walk the talk and action on the ideas.I believe the article is wortwhile reading.

Already, approximately half of the world’s habitable land is used for agriculture. This cannot continue to increase, if we are to avoid further deforestation and stay within global carbon budgets. However, agricultural output must still contend with a rising global population. This presents the challenge of increasing food production without expanding agricultural land.
