Astrid Walstra is located in the greater New York City area where she works as a Global Strategic Key Account Manager for Intertek Supplier Management.
Astrid has been working in the industry for over 10 years in a variety of customer-facing roles both in Europe and in the US. Astrid is very passionate about the industry she works in and has conducted audits in a variety of countries such as in her native country, the Netherlands, but also in other European countries and China. She has been trained on SMETA, amfori BSCI, RBA, and a number of client specific programs. Astrid has participated in assessments in the softline, hardline, retail, food & beverage industry, and agriculture sectors. Further, she has taken and successfully completed the Intertek lead auditor course.
Astrid’s current responsibility is to manage a portfolio of strategic North America based clients. Business through enhancement of client relationships, professional guidance, and superior customer care is the primary function and focus in her role. Astrid also continues to remain involved in global initiatives and is a regular contributor to Intertek’s monthly CSR Newsletter.
