A new needed Human Right

In recent weeks there has been significant progress in Human and Workers' Rights. On July 29, 2022, the General Assembly of the United Nations declared access to a clean and healthy environment a universal human right. This is historical and will give the “push” that was needed so consciousness about the environment can finally start being taken seriously.

With 161 votes in favour, and eight abstentions*, the UN General Assembly adopted a historic resolution on Thursday, declaring access to a clean, healthy and sustainable environment, a universal human right.
