Difference between N95 and KN95 Masks

We didn't see much use of medical masks in everyday use before the spread of COVID-19 infection, but we did use masks in places like hospitals or laboratories. However, as the transmission of COVID-19 has increased, the demand and price of masks have skyrocketed. Due to huge shortages, many new traders came to the market with masks to meet the growing demand. Many countries have tightened quality control, run awareness campaigns to build the knowledge that not all masks are made the same, and there is a need to reject poor quality products.

Most people have now become familiar with the use of an N95 mask and it's effectiveness against viruses, and the difficulties many consumers have had in sourcing these masks. To meet the demand, the KN95 mask has been introduced as a suitable alternative to the N95. These two types of masks have similarities in name but are made to meet two completely different standards, before buying either mask, you must know the difference between the two and which will suit your needs more effectively.

The rise in coronavirus cases across the country has led to a rise in companies making face masks too, as government officials continue to promote the wearing of face coverings as an effective way to prevent the spread of Covid-19. While there are a number of different options available, from lightweight face masks for running to more stylish picks, a new report says the most effective face masks are a protective N95 mask. Also sometimes referred to as N95 respirators, these masks are not to be confused with KN95 masks, which have a similar name, but are held to entirely different standards. Here’s what you need to know.
