I raise you a pandemic AND a potential hurricane.

Businesses are faced with obstacles and hurdles regularly, however the year 2020 looked everyone in the eye and said “I see your day to day risks and I raise you a pandemic AND a few tropical storms as well as a potential hurricane.” At least that is what Florida and the Caribbean are dealing with at the moment. It’s times like this that many business owners are realizing quickly that they were not ready for such events or they are referring back to their “I meant to update that” business continuity plan... frantically trying to adapt to the new norms. Either way, now is a good time to look at your management systems in place and perhaps take your ISO 9001 foundation up a few notches and look into ISO 22301 for Business Continuity.
