EU’s tough due diligence law hits wall of German objections

This article discusses the most recent news within Germany that the three-party government coalition was not united in their opinion regarding the CSDDD. 

“The stumbling block emerged when Germany’s Free Democratic Party, part of the ruling coalition, unexpectedly announced its opposition to CSDDD in a 15 January declaration, citing “bureaucratic hurdles” and “legal uncertainty.””
